A Businessman. A Community Leader. A Lifelong Ross County Neighbor.
David Pinkerton isn’t a career politician, he’s a proven leader who has spent his life building something real right here in Ross County.
Since moving to Ross County in 1989, Dave has worked tirelessly to grow his business, serve his community, and raise his family with the values that make this county strong: hard work, faith, integrity, and service.
In 1999, Dave founded Advanced Services Heating & Air Conditioning, which grew into one of the largest HVAC companies in South and Central Ohio. For 24 years, he created good-paying jobs, trained skilled workers, and delivered reliable service to thousands of local families. After selling the business in 2023, Dave remained active in commercial property ownership and self-storage management, but his passion has always been about more than just business. It’s about community.
“Ross County has given me everything, my family, my faith community, and the opportunity to build something meaningful. Now I’m ready to give back in a new way.”
Family & Faith First
Dave and his wife, Emily (Malone) Pinkerton, have been married for over two decades and are proud parents to two daughters, Hallie and Madilyn, who are both off to college. Their family has been active members of Brookside Church in Chillicothe for over 26 years, where faith and service have always been central to their lives.
Committed to Community
For 26 years, Dave has been a dedicated member of First Capital Rotary, where he served as President and held multiple terms on the board. His leadership has extended to serving with the Greater Chillicothe and Ross County Development Board, as well as the Economic Development Committee, working to bring opportunity and growth to the region.
His contributions have earned recognition, including:
🏆 Entrepreneur of the Year – Pike County (2006)
🏆 Entrepreneur of the Year – Ross County (2013)
Why He’s Running
Dave isn’t running for Commissioner because he needs a new career, he’s running because Ross County needs leadership that understands business, believes in fiscal discipline, and is ready to fight for a better future for our families.
He’s ready to:
- Promote economic and workforce development
- Invest in infrastructure and safety
- Operate county government with common sense and accountability
- Create a future where your kids and his kids want to stay, work, and raise their families
“At 54, I have the time, energy, and experience to serve—and I’m ready to do just that.”
